Description:  A high grade Polyethylene Resin Cloth coated with a high tack solvent acrylic adhesive system..

Application:  Used for masking and protection in the building and construction industry (compatible for use on lead-free flashing products). Its easy-tear characteristics make it ideal for on site work joining, holding and mounting as a general purpose builder’s tape. The product is also useful for tabbing and holding items and other temporary applications since its adhesive system lends itself to clean removal. In addition the PE Cloth yarn means that the tape is recyclable and this may lend it to certain applications in industries where this is a requirement to re-cycle packaging components Can be used as a “Clear” Cloth Duct Tape and, due to its acrylic adhesive system, will have resistance to plasticisers in certain vinyls.

Surface Preparation:  The surface on which the tape is to be used must be clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Remember that pressure sensitive adhesive must be applied with the maximum possible pressure in order to achieve maximum adhesion levels. The recommended application temperature is between 15ºC and 25ºC.

Storage:  Tapes stored below the minimum application temperature will require warming up to that level before use. Up to 24 hours may be required for this to take place.
